Caroline, August 2024. A wonderful stay in The Dovecot. We had the total privilege of being the first family to enjoy this beautifully designed property. The layout met our specific needs perfectly and enabled us all to relax and enjoy our time together. David and Jossi couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming. Our horses had a fabulous holiday too, what a location!
Glen, August 2024. Spacious, very well equipped, beautiful location. However a few more windows or a balcony to appreciate the views would make the Garret even better. Comment from David and Jossi: we’re so glad that you loved the location. Unfortunately, since we’re in Grade 2 listed buildings here within a Conservation Area and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there is very little that we can do in terms of extra windows or balconies. Sorry about that.

Everything we could possibly have needed and all wrapped up in Jossi & David, who are just incredible. Can't recommend these guys, and this spot highly enough. The most beautiful village, close to Shaftesbury and Salisbury but a little spot of heaven to come back to. Surrounded by stunning countryside and a host of spots to explore.
Helen, August 2024. We had the most delightful stay at The Garret at Manor Farm. The surroundings are stunning and the accommodation was so beautiful. We had such a warm welcome from Jossi and David - the welcome pack, including dog treats, delicious homemade soda bread, honey from their beehives and a vase of fresh flowers from their garden. They even invited us to glean supplies for our dinner from their vegetable garden. We really felt that they wanted us to share in the joy of, and be part of their idyllic farm whilst we stayed there.
They have struck the perfect balance between furnishing the property so stylishly, with vintage furniture sitting alongside the best quality fittings, but not making it feel too precious, or like a show home. We felt able to kick back and relax as soon as we arrived and we loved that dogs were welcomed. Knowing that the accommodation has been refurbished sustainably and that even the toiletries provided are refillable and eco-friendly just added to the experience.
Thank you Jossi and David - we would love to come back again to visit your patch of heaven at Manor Farm.
Thomas, August 2024. We could not have dreamed better than this beautiful stopover (5 days) in this quiet place. The cottage was so big for us 4 ;) we were like princesses ;) and so nicely decorated. A kitchen in Rdc full of charm, 2 living rooms at 1st floor, then 2 bedrooms next to each other with 2 bathrooms, one with a bath much appreciated by small and large. Everything is perfect, comfortable and thought to make you feel good. And Jossi's smile can only confirm the happiness of this place. It also allowed us to navigate the surrounding countryside and known places around.
Jill, July 2024. It's gorgeous. Jossi has created an environment where you feel as though hosting people brings her genuine joy rather than just an income. The quality of Stable Cottage is as high as you could hope for. It's spacious and generous and the aesthetic is fabulous. The kitchen is absolutely the heart of it, looking out over the central yard with lovely welcoming treats for humans and pets. The homemade sourdough bread is really good. The utility areas and additional downstairs loo makes managing family and pets easy. The upstairs lounges (yes two) literally invite you to relax and regenerate... the sofas are high quality and very comfortable, the furnishings are chic and homely and make the whole place feel like a treat. The bedrooms are airy and the bedding is deliciously generous - lovely big duvets and pillows and the best crisp hotel-level cotton covers... the towels and toiletries are also really good quality and eco-friendly too... yeah, this sounds too good to be true and that's how we felt when we stayed.

The accommodation was spacious, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. There was a secure paddock for the dogs to run around and we made full use of the games rooms as well! Liking variety, we have never stayed at the same place twice but we have all talked about going back to either this cottage or the new one that the owners are developing. As people who think dogs are a part of the family the extra dog touches provided were the best we have seen.

This was our last (and without exaggeration the best) cottage we stayed in after our 3 weeks travel through South Devon and Cornwall. It is located in a pretty little village on a farm with lots of history. Jossi and David where unbelievably helpful and friendly - they really made us feel at home and wanting to stay even longer.
12/10 would recommend this place to my closest family and friends - and we'd love to come back another time soon!

We had our two young children with us and Jossi made sure to include everything we needed for them - high chair, cot, stairgate and even a changing mat. Theres a games room and a field for them to play in also.
Honestly we had the best few days break here and will 100% return in the future

Jossi was super helpful from the start, sending plenty of information before our arrival and was on hand to answer any questions throughout our stay. The cottage itself was gorgeous and had all the amenities that we needed. We enjoyed a couple of lovely walks in the local area and made use of the gym and snooker table on site. Overall it was a brilliant stay and we all returned to London feeling happy and refreshed!

Very high quality accommodation for us tastefully decorated. Our horses Tiberius and Monty enjoyed large traditional stables over looking a cobbled courtyard. The weather was not kind to us so hacking was limited but the fantastic enormous arena had everything you and your horse could ever want. We had a lot of fun.

Wendy, March 2024. We absolutely loved our 2 night stay here and will definitely return for a longer break next time. The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished and has everything you need. The beds were so comfy and everything was spotless. We enjoyed the honey, eggs and butter waiting for us (and the chocolate eggs were a nice touch for Easter!). The grass area in the courtyard directly outside the cottage was also perfect for our Beagle Maisy (she even sniffed out a hedgehog!). We also managed to make use of the snooker table and gym equipment which are an added bonus. It's a great location - easy to find and within easy reach of so many places. We visited Salisbury and Lulworth Cove. We came with our grown up children but it would be great for younger families too. We didn't meet Jossi during our stay but she messaged to check all was ok throughout our stay and always replied promptly to any queries.

Joshua, March 2024. Our family (from the US) brought our two oldest daughters to England for a week . . . we are so grateful we decided to spend a couple of days outside of London and ended up staying at Manor Farm! Surpassed expectations in every way!
The Stable Cottage was perfect. Comfortable, clean, a recent renovation of an older stable, with everything well done -- not even a squeaky stair! Used the woodburning fireplace one evening -- just lit the fire that was already pre-built. Couldn't have been easier.
The hosts are fabulous. Home-grown honey, local butter and fresh-baked sourdough bread on the kitchen table when we arrived. Always available, and yet happy to give us space to enjoy the farm as well. D joined me on an impromptu walk with his dogs one morning, And J invited our daughters into her kitchen to see newly hatched chicks the next evening. We left after just 2 nights feeling like we had new friends in Wiltshire.
The area is beautiful. Rolling fields, well-kept hedges, thatched roofs and country roads. Almost like out of a story book, with walking paths you could follow for miles. For my American friends, it felt like the horse country of Virginia or Kentucky had met Colonial Williamsburg, except the nearby inn (an hours' walk, 10 minute drive) where we had dinner dates back to the 14th century!
We used Manor Farm as a base to enjoy the countryside and investigate nearby attractions like Stonehenge, Bath, and Glastonbury, as well as several nearby castle ruins. But could easily have stayed a week just enjoying the country and the people. We definitely hope to be back! If you stay here, you will not regret it.

It is a beautifully decorated and thought through property. Spotlessly clean and the decor is so welcoming. Beautiful flowers, that smelt lovely to the wonderful bread, butter, fresh honey and freshly laid farm eggs, waiting for us. There were 3 doggie welcome packs too. The shower and bath were amazing and such a comfortable bed, meant we had such a relaxing stay. The doggies enjoyed the exercise field which was just opposite the front door which was ideal. We really appreciated all the care that's gone into the apartment, the well-stocked kitchen, the delicious goodies from the farm. Our kids loved it so much--particularly getting to hold the baby chicks! The surrounding area was peaceful and picturesque, and we ate very well from various nearby pubs, bakeries etc. We found the bed in the orange bedroom a tiny bit wonky and uncomfortable. But that didn't detract from an absolutely brilliant holiday: thank you so much. We'd love to return.

They were incredibly attentive and proactive in answering any and all questions or help, even when we couldn't get the fire lit! The Cottage itself is just fantastic, the photos do not do it justice. It is a great size and cozy with all the necessary touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible. As frequent visitors to the area, the location was perfect and within a 5-minute drive of all our favorite pubs and walks. We will definitely look to be staying again in the near future, A true gem!

The hosts had thought of everything. Would love to stay again and highly recommend.
Iain, August 2023. Stable Cottage was excellent. Plenty of room for a family or two couples, this is a beautifully-refurbished cottage in a huge barn conversion. We were greeted by lots of small welcoming touches (fab home-made marmalade and honey; local bread, butter and milk; tea, coffee, sugar and cereal to get you going if you've forgotten anything). The kitchen has all the facilities you need. The two bathrooms are first rate, with lovely soft towels and plenty of hot water. The internet is good. It's also in a great location, just off the lovely village of Teffont Magna. Highly recommended.

After travelling for 3 weeks and mostly staying in cities The Garret was an amazingly relaxing place to stay, so much so we extended our stay an extra night. Jossi & David are beautiful hosts, extremely friendly and inviting. Everything we needed was provided - washer/dryer, beautiful fully equipped kitchen, 2 toilets, 2 bedrooms both with extremely comfy beds & beautiful linen. We felt right at home, even picking fresh veggies from their garden. The deep claw foot bath was soooo relaxing. The village of Teffont is well worth a walk around, everything feels authentic and everyone we met was happy to chat.
There is nothing we didn’t like about The Garret.

The hosts were great and profice all delicious things for breakfast in te apartment for us. The beds were terrific, we all slept very well. The courtyard is very quiet. There are chickes and dogs on the farm, otherwise no animals. For entertainment there is a table tennis table, a foosball table, a gym and a snooker table. We were here for two nights and felt very comfortable.

Jenny, July 2023. The Garrett is a rare find. This beautifully appointed flat is spacious and comfortable (as are the beds). The amenities are excellent for either a long or short stay. There were some thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge and one or two other things. My friends and I are planning to return for a longer stay later this year which I think supports our recommendation. Thank you Joss.

One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional hospitality of the owners, Joss and David. They were friendly and welcoming and always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Whether I needed advice on exploring the local area or recommendations for nearby attractions, they were always on hand with a wealth of knowledge and a genuine desire to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Their warmth and willingness to assist made me feel like a valued guest, and I truly appreciated their attentive and personalised service.
The farm apartment's location was also ideal for exploring the surrounding area. I had the opportunity to embark on scenic hikes, visit charming nearby villages and frequent the local pub (The Compasses Inn - amazing)! Our day trip to the Stourhead National Trust site was a highlight! The owners' recommendations were spot-on, allowing me to experience the region's best. My stay at this newly renovated farm apartment was an absolute delight. The beautiful decor, serene atmosphere, and incredibly friendly and helpful owners all contributed to an unforgettable experience.

Jossi and David are great hosts. Fantastic communication throughout, clear instructions, helpful local information and they could not have been more accomodating to us.
Manor Farm location is just perfect for visiting the local attractions and the amenties on site were perfect for 2 children and our dog. We loved the table tennis and use of the paddock for playing and picnics!
The apartment itself is just stunning. It is beautifully decorated, very spacious and fully equipped with all we needed.
Overall, we cannot recommend the Garret highly enough and hope to return again. Thank you for making our stay just perfect!

Jenny, April 2023. A perfect stay! In an exceptionally beautiful corner of Wiltshire The Garrett is extremely well appointed. The apartment is chic, and beautifully decorated with everything you could need for a couples retreat or family getaway.
Manor Farm, a gorgeous small-holding is perfectly situated for countryside activities, and peaceful cosy evenings in.
We especially loved the comfy sheets and fresh linen and the bathroom with its stand alone bath and epic shower!
The self check in was appreciated late on a Wednesday evening but Joss was on hand with any local questions the next day and was really helpful, friendly and communicative throughout.

Seb, April 2023. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jossy's Air BnB in the stunning countryside. From start to finish, Jossi was an amazing host who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable.
Firstly, the location of this Air BnB is simply breathtaking. Set amidst lush greenery and rolling hills, the surrounding area is peaceful and quiet, and the fresh air and beautiful scenery were a treat for my senses. The accommodation was also top-notch. From the comfortable beds to the stylish decor. Everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained, I felt at home as soon as I arrived.
What really set Jossy's Air BnB apart was her hospitality. She was always available to answer any questions I had, and she went out of her way to make sure that I had everything I needed during my stay.
