The Garret

The Garret is a spacious and beautifully appointed flat set in the eaves of the historic Model Farm buildings. It was once the groom’s flat and prior to that was a grain loft and has retained many of the original features of the loft. It and was recently awarded the prestigious 4-star Gold rating by Visit England.

The flat is entirely on the first floor, accessible by a short staircase and private entrance. It is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with limited mobility. Guests with limited mobility should look at The Dovecot which has wheelchair-accessible accommodation and facilities.

The Garret has two double bedrooms (one with a king bed, one normally with two singles), an open-plan kitchen, dining area, study area and lounge area with TV. It has a bathroom with a bath and shower and an additional separate loo. It also has a clothes washer and dryer.

The Garret has an outdoor area for BBQs and of course access to the paddocks and facilities at Manor Farm.

There is ample private parking in the farm yard.

We’re pet-friendly, of course. Dogs are very welcome. Guests can even bring their horses and stable them close to the accommodation.

Guests in the Garret share access to the various facilities at Manor Farm including the snooker room, table tennis room, gym and padocks.

We also have two young chefs living here in Teffont who worked recently at a Michelin-starred restaurant and are available if you would like a special meal cooked for you whilst you are here. Their website is here.
